Asessessment and Lab Management Workshop

ASESA held a workshop on Assessment and Lab Management on the 24 - 25 September 2005 at Hebron Haven Hotel in Pietermaritzburg. This was the Train the Trainer workshop. The delegates are expected to workshop the membership in their respective association.

ASESA member associations which sent delegation were as follows:
* PIMSTA
* KWTDAMSTE
* AMSEME
* MDAMSTEDA

The workshop catered for educators in all phases, that is:
* Junior Phase
* Intermediate Phase
* Senior Phase
* Further Education and Training

There were seven faciltators who were tasked to train the trainees. These facilitators were:
* Laboratory Management - Mr R. Zulu
* Assessment in Biology - Mr S. Magwaza
* Assessment in Physical Science - Mr C. Twala
* Assessment in Natural Science - Mrs P. Mdluli
* Assessment in Technology - Mr T. Mfusi
* Assessment in Maths (GET) - Mrs L. Vilakazi
* Assessment in Maths (FET)- Mr M. Ndaba

Mr L. Grove then conducted a joint seminar on Fundraising.

Delegates were satisfied with the excellent quality and the relevance of the workshop.
